Amdocs announced its new NFV Powered by ONAP portfolio a portfolio featuring modular capabilities that accelerate service design, virtualization and operating capabilities on demand.

Service providers using technologies developed in ONAP and its ecosystem of capabilities can provide enterprises the ability to design their own networks as part of a richer set of service features.

By offering a commercially hardened approach to the lifecycle management of virtual services, building on Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP) , Amdocs wants to capitalize on the years of software development work its done with AT&T

Besides AT&T, Amdocs is also working with other service providers within ONAP. Hatchell mentioned Bell Canada and Orange, but she wouldn’t confirm them as customers of its NFV Powered by ONAP software.
